Golf Vacation and Golfing Holiday Tips
BOOK EARLY
You are never too early to begin planning your golf holiday. Book ahead of time as demand on tee times can often outweigh supply.
NON-GOLFERS
For non-golfers in the party, we will be happy to recommend and suggest side trips. Sight seeing tours and shopping excursion are always very popular.
HANDICAP RESTRICTIONS

Caddies can be requested in advance at most golf clubs but not guaranteed. Golf Clubs will do their utmost to secure caddies but caddies are not employed by the golf clubs. Payment must be made by the golfer directly. Motorised carts are generally not available on Links Courses. Pull Carts are widely available at most golf clubs.
DRESS CODES & FOOTWEAR
On many major Golf courses soft spikes are obligatory. Generally smart casual attire is acceptable in all areas of the clubhouse. However in some clubs, jacket and tie are required for dining.
WEATHER/CLIMATE
The weather is of a temperate nature however still changeable and unpredictable. The best time to play golf is from April - October and bring rain gear just in case.
CURRENCY
The currency in the republic of Ireland is Euro while in Northern Ireland and Scotland the currency is Pound Sterling. Credit Cards are widely accepted and ATM machines generally available.
