This beautiful parkland golf course is situated on the coast of County Waterford - in the sunny South-East of Ireland. On completion, the designer, Captain Tippet said that he had laid out as magnificent an 18-hole course as ever pleased the eye. With rows of trees, numerous large bunkers, streams and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and distant mountains, this course has it all. However, it is a challenging course and calls for great accuracy from the golfer. It is said that the 17th hole is one of the best in these islands. Several major national events have been staged here, including the Irish Dunlop Professional tournament and the Carrolls Irish Matchplay Championship.
