The most visited golfing region of Scotland is on the east coast, gleaming with greats, St. Andrews with six other links courses owned by the Links Trust, also Carnoustie, Kingsbarns, Crail, St Andrews Bay, Scotscraig and Gleneagles which is hosting the 2014 Ryder Cup Matches.
More North lies Royal Aberdeen, Cruden Bay, Moray, Murcar and Fraserburgh.
Closer to Edinburgh City is East Lothian, featuring, Gullane, North Berwick, Dunbar, Craigielaw and Longniddry.
